Medical Assistant:

We at Prime Immediate and Primary care are committed to improving accessibility to healthcare in the communities we serve. We are looking for an experienced bilingual (Spanish and English) speaking Medical Assistant to work in our facility.

  • Candidate must be able to do blood draws, administer vaccines, injections.
  • Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
  • Assist with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician
  • Perform select clinical duties.
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
  • Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
  • Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Medical Receptionist:

Prime Immediate and Primary care is looking a bilingual (Spanish and English) speaking Medical Receptionist to work in our facility in Naperville. This role is an opportunity for a medical receptionist to apply with their skills in our Primary Care and Urgent Care setting. This role will require the Medical Receptionist to work and establish relationships with all customers, including patients/families, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support for providers, patients, and office operations
  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive
  • Accurately obtain and electronically document patient demographic, insurance, and payment information
  • Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate party
  • Assist parent and children in the reception area
  • Verify eligibility and insurance information
  • Collect credit card and co-payment information
  • Fax, file, scan necessary paperwork
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of the waiting room
  • Keep exam rooms and front reception stocked with adequate supplies
  • Helps patients in distress by promptly notifying medical staff of emergencies
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to management team
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and challenging requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Assisting patients with complaints and taking an active role in service recovery when needed
  • Perform other administrative, and clinical support duties as needed


  • Prior experience as a receptionist in a healthcare environment
  • A processional and friendly demeanor
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (practice fusion - preferred)
